Yesterday saw Lancaster University pay a visit to Worksop College to give our students an insight into university life.
Lectures were held throughout the day from two Lancaster University academics, a student ambassador and someone from their Marketing department.
As well as the lectures, our Year 11 and Sixth Form English Literature pupils, as well as some Sixth Form Tutors, were given the opportunity to partake in discussions including: ‘ ‘Medieval Literature: Middle English, Manuscripts and the Mysterious Green Knight’.
The Taster Day gave students an insight and understanding into what university is like and were given the chance to ask any questions they had.
