As part of their 'Survival' lessons, Year 7 students have used their instincts to survive a disaster at sea when their yacht caught fire and sank.
They fought off hunger by foraging for safe, wild food plants to eat and succeeded in building and lighting a wild camp fire using materials they collected, a flint and steel - strictly no matches on this desert island!
The camp fire kept everyone toasty and was used to cook some tasty dinner.
