Rupert Sheldrake (Mason1955-59)

One of the world’s most innovative biologists and writers, Rupert is is best known for his theory of morphic fields and morphic resonance. He has written more than 80 scientific papers and 10 books, and his career has been a continual quest to explore phenomena that science finds hard to explain.

On leaving Worksop, Rupert obtained a scholarship to attend Clare College, Cambridge where he specialised in biochemistry and graduated with double first class honours.
