It has been a busy Spring and Summer Term from completing one production to planning and rehearsing the next, and everything in-between!

Our whole school production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ was a huge success with Year 7 to 11 coming together to create a slick, entertaining and funny production. Everyone from the pupils on stage to all the backstage crew demonstrated our school values of determination and compassion to the entire production - something we are incredibly proud of.

At Ranby House we had our Spring Term production of Alice in Wonderland, an amazing production by all involved – with amazing original soundtracks made for the production!

We are now in the midst of preparation and rehearsals for our Summer Term production – A Midsummer’s Night Dream. We hope you all have your tickets! The production will be on June 18^th and 19^th at the College.

We also announced our offer of Drama Scholarships for September 2027 at Worksop College - supporting pupils with a passion for performance to thrive creatively and confidently. 

We are also proud to share that we are now an approved examination centre for London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) - meaning pupils can take their drama exams here in school, further enriching their learning experience.

LAMDA qualifications are nationally recognised and help develop confidence, communication, and performance skills—valuable far beyond the stage.

Last but certainly not least, we had our very own talented Hermione from the College being selected as a finalist in the ISA Shakespeare Monologue Competition 2026 – competing against pupils from across the country in Milton Keynes.  

So many updates in the space of a few months! No dramas, just drama at Worksop College and Ranby House! Looking forward to sharing more with you in the coming weeks and months, watch out for the announcement of our production for academic year 26/27!
