Introducing Day Extra

From September 2025, all day pupils will benefit from a new Day Extra model. This means that, in addition to their day provision, every pupil will be entitled to seven complimentary boarding nights per term providing greater flexibility for families and allowing students to take fuller advantage of the opportunities beyond the school day. Whether it’s staying after a rehearsal, taking part in a House activity, preparing for a fixture, or simply experiencing boarding life, Day Extra is designed to support busy families and offer our pupils a deeper connection with the wider school community.

Welcome to Worksop College and Ranby House

Worksop College and Ranby House; one community set across two schools. We are proud to be a broad ability school, educating children from 2-18. With a focus firmly on progress, we recognise that every child has their own set of skills and abilities, whether it be academic, sporting, musical or otherwise. We believe that education is about more than the flight towards academic success, but about human flourishing.

We want our pupils to be the very best version of themselves. If they are destined to attend an established University, here is where they will flourish. If they are an outstanding sportsperson, here is where they will hone their skills. Perhaps they are a talented artist or musician, here is where they’d perfect their craft, but if these talents are yet to be revealed, here is where they’ll be discovered.

We are a remarkable school, in a stunning setting, with exceptional facilities and a talented teaching staff. At Worksop College, what matters is the individual, their aspirations and their future.

Come and visit us - we’re looking forward to meeting you and your family.
