Worksop College Swimmers Making Waves

The recent regional galas have concluded with remarkable achievements from our swimmers, showcasing their dedication and exceptional performance. We are thrilled to highlight their accomplishments and extend our congratulations to all who participated in their respective regions.

Special Mentions:

Max, Year 11: Max won 4 gold medals and has been selected to represent Team England in an international gala this June. We wish him the best for this event and his upcoming competition at the British Nationals this summer.

Jake, Year 12: Jake secured 1 gold and 3 silver medals in the open age group. He will compete in 7 events across 3 strokes at the British Nationals and in the 200IM at the English Nationals.

Ray, Year 8: Ray achieved 3 silver medals and will be competing in the 100 Free at the British Nationals and the 200 Free at the English Nationals. Ray is now the youngest swimmer from the school to ever get to the nationals along with in his club.

Isla, Year 8: Isla will also be swimming at the English Nationals, competing in two events. We are excited to see her in action!

Their hard work and dedication are inspiring and they are setting an example of determination to our other pupils. Special congratulations to Max, Jake, Ray, and Isla for their exceptional achievements. We look forward to seeing them excel in their upcoming competitions at the national level."
