Upgrading the Facilities
It’s been a busy first part of the calendar year of 2026 with infrastructure planning and investment across both Ranby House and Worksop College. Investing in our school for and enhanced pupil experience today and the future.
Starting with one the Sixth Form communal areas, we will be transforming Cuthbert’s into a fully functional café worksop. The space will be designed to support how our Sixth Form students study, work and spend time together.
We are helping to shape a space where students can enjoy a coffee or food, focus on independent study, collaborate with friends, and recharge throughout the day. A modern café-style space with dedicated study areas, supporting independence, wellbeing and daily Sixth Form life. We look forward to share more as the project develops.
We have also invested in the surfaces at Ranby House and Worksop College. The road circling the College and the parking at Ranby House have both been resurfaced, along with improvements to the surfaces in the Chapel and College sports hall.
We are also planning to create some transformative changes to the Quad at Ranby House, as well as changes to Portland 7. We will share more as all the projects progress.
