Worksop College welcomes pro Rugby coaches - Barry Eaton and Michael Cusack

Last week we welcomed two special coaches to the college, Barry Eaton and Michael Cusack.

Barry and Michael ran a session with the 1st team rugby squad and then worked with all our age group coaches

Barry Eaton is the current Leeds Rhinos Assistant Coach (Offence). He is also a former Welsh International halfback and former world record holder for most successful consecutive goal kicks. During the sessions, Barry focused on backs, shapes, and plays and out of hand kicking.

Michael Cusack is the current Yorkshire Carnegie prop, as well as a former player for Newcastle Falcons, Doncaster Knights and Scotland International.

Whilst at Worksop College, Michael focused on set piece, scrum and driving maul from a lineout.

Sports Performance Director, Chris Plume said:

"I'd like to thank both Barry and Michael for the time they have spent with the 1st team squad today. The benefits of giving our players and coaches this kind of exposure to this level of expertise will surely improve the quality of what we can produce both competitively and on the training field."
