DofE Award Practice Expedition

DofE Manager, Maj. Simon Payne talked us through the practice expedition.

“Our route took us through Clumber Park down to Walesby Campsite, where students enjoyed the evening sun and cooked a meal of pasta.

After a night under canvas, their route took them back to the College. The hot sun played a part on Sunday, but students coped very well with the temperatures.

The staff were all very impressed with the determination of the group and I would like to congratulate all involved, with a thank you also to the staff for giving their time to support our expedition.”
