Headmaster's Commendations are highly prized at Ranby House, read on to find out why...
Pupils at Ranby House are rewarded in lots of ways for their hard work, effort and achievement.
They can collect stars and industry points for their hard work and if they are able to show embedded consistency in one of our Learner Profile areas of learning, (adaptability, resilience, independence) they can be awarded an HMC (Headmaster's Commendation).
Children receiving an HMC visit Headmaster, Mr. Pritchard to explain their learning and to share their evidence that supports their award. The children then receive an HMC badge to proudly wear on their blazer.
If they manage to secure all three badges by the end of Year Six, they receive their gold 'Learner Profile' badge.
