There was a buzz of excitement amongst the Friday night boarders, as Ranby House welcomed some special furry friends.
Hawks of Steele, a family-ran wildlife business, visited with a 'mob ' of Meerkats.
Mr Steele explained Meerkat behaviour, what they eat and how resilient they are to scorpion and snake venom.
Every pupil then had an opportunity to have a picture with one of the Meerkats, Fred!
