A culinary trip to Spain

Based on the idea of the Georgian and Thai cooking lesson in International Week, Students Fuen and Sonsoles asked if they could lead a Spanish cooking lesson for students – teaching them how to make Tortilla de Patatas.

Based on the idea of the Georgian and Thai cooking lesson in International Week, Students Fuen and Sonsoles asked if they could lead a Spanish cooking lesson for students – teaching them how to make Tortilla de Patatas.

A very typical Spanish dish – students just had to fry a chopped potato, add some fried onion and garlic, add four beaten eggs and fry altogether until cooked both sides.

“It was very tasty and everyone really enjoyed it”, said Sonsoles.

“The process was accompanied by a Spanish music playlist that we created ourselves.”

The night gave boarders from different nationalities the opportunity to get to know each other and spend some time with each other having fun.

Fuen said:

“We would like to thank Mrs Christodoulou who helped us get the ingredients ready and demonstrated her culinary knife skills, and also of course to all the students who came."
