It was a great start to the House Cooking Competition this week.
At the beginning of the week, Worksop College welcomed members of the improvised musical company, The Showstoppers.
The 1st XV have started the season in impressive form, winning 7 from 7 and taking the notable scalps of Hymers College and Nottingham High School.
Pupils in Year 6 have been learning about the geography of the Antarctic region, and the problems facing early explorers to the South Pole.
This weekend, 14 members of the Worksop College and Ranby House community will be dusting off their running shoes as they take part in a worthy cause – running the St. Cuthbert’s Way in support of Bluebell Wood.
This weekend proved to be a busy one for our Houses – from BBQ’s to a trip to the cinema, we take a look at what our students got up to.
Last week, students and staff participated in the Colour Fun Run, an event set up to raise money and awareness for the Bluebell Wood Hospice.
Year 8 student, Ameila Chrispin recently took part in the British Triathlon U20’s Festival at Mallory Park.
This weekend, Worksop’s Equestrian team spent it competing in a regional qualifier for the National Schools Equestrian Championships and NSEA Challenge Plate.

Last week, our Year 11 Photography students went on a trip to London, their task? To create a portrait of a ‘City in Motion’.
