Pupils in 5P had the chance to share some unique ideas for their assembly on the 'Perfect Gift for Mother's Day'.
Pupils were set the task of thinking of all the jobs that people who look after us do, sometimes without recognition and support.
Using this information, pupils then came up with a number inventions that would make life a bit easier for those that care for children.
The ‘washing up wand’, ‘instructions repeater’ and ‘perfect child pill’ were among the favourites, but it was the ‘money tree’ that seemed to generate the most interest.
The pupils explained the historical context behind Mothering Sunday and helped us all to reflect on how lucky we are to have people that look after us.
Next stop, Dragons' Den!
