Rugby at Worksop College

Rugby takes the spotlight as the major games option for boys during the autumn term, although our commitment extends throughout the academic year, ensuring access for all students.

As part of the academic timetable, students enjoy two weekly training sessions, supplemented by additional options in the evenings through our co-curricular program. As students progress into the sixth form, small group sessions during free periods become available, allowing for personalized coaching and skill development on a one-to-one basis.

Our competitive fixture card provides the perfect stage for students to showcase their acquired skills, catering to players of all ability levels. Rugby becomes an engaging journey of growth and enjoyment for every participant.

At Worksop College, we take pride in our comprehensive Scholarship program. Scholars benefit from a tailored focus on their individual development through personalized Individual Development Programmes. Moreover, specific scholar skill sessions and Strength and Conditioning (S&C) sessions further enhance their capabilities. Join us on the field, where Rugby isn't just a game; it's a journey of skill, strategy, and personal excellence.
