Physical Education is an increasingly respected and popular subject for pupils to study at GCSE level - examining the effects of exercise and training, on performance.
We have a long history of sporting excellence at Worksop College, boasting a number of sporting greats across a wide variety of sports.
Taking a GCSE in Physical Education is ideal preparation for our A level PE qualification, and the course content links closely to Biology and Food Preparation & Nutrition.
During this course, you will have the opportunity to specialise in one sport, develop an ability to coach or officiate – as well as apply your knowledge of the subject matter to a piece of coursework relating to your own practical strengths.
